Coronado Bed and Breakfast

A night’s stay at the Hotel Marisol Coronado includes a continental breakfast buffet served in our living room from 7:00 – 10:00 a.m.  Fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, oatmeal, boiled eggs, and yummy pastries baked fresh from Coronado’s Villa Nueva Bakeryprovide just the right start to your morning. Don’t hesitate to enjoy them in our garden courtyard, soaking up the early morning sunlight while you plan your day.

If you are a late riser or prefer a heartier breakfast, there are many choices for breakfast and brunch within walking distance of the Hotel Marisol.  Miguel’s, a festive cantina that is Coronado’s favorite Mexican restaurant, opens at 9 a.m. each day and serves breakfast until noon Monday through Friday, and until 2 p.m. on the weekend.

Diners with a more eclectic palate should try a weekend brunch at Leroy’s Kitchen and Lounge.  Known for their fresh farm-to-table menu, you can count on unique items such as Cast Iron Frittata with melted leeks, bacon lardons, house ricotta, and fresh fruit.  Add a French press coffee from a local micro-roast or a mimosa kit with four choices of bubbles, three choices of fresh juice, plus fresh berries.

If breakfast is your favorite meal of the day, you can order it any time of day or night at the Night and Day Café, “serving hungry Islanders since 1929”. Step back in time to the era of the short order cook with your food prepared right in front of you as you perch on old fashioned stools at the counter.
